Abstract
⺠Geography rejected biology after early 20th century environmental determinism. ⺠Causality has since been remediated using scale and different types of environment. ⺠The diversity of scalar thinking in geography is embodied in organisms. ⺠Organisms practice scale in ways that draw from physical as well as human geography. ⺠This presents an opportunity for renewed dialogue between geography and biology.
