Abstract
⺠We examine three debates about Indigenous peoples' property in land in Canada. ⺠In each case we identify a specific “property gap” around which debate revolves. ⺠These property gaps and debates reflect ongoing struggles over geography. ⺠They also reflect efforts to “locate” Indigenous people within the settler state. ⺠We argue the need to expand property options for Indigenous people
