Abstract
⺠We show how migrants 'carry' practices which 'travel' through time and space. ⺠We offer new insights into how practices move from one place and time to another. ⺠Practices are subject to forms of integration, disintegration and transferral. ⺠We present the idea of practice memory to explain how practices can be resurrected.
