Abstract
⺠We analyze incentives to share customer data with a rival for targeted pricing. ⺠Only data on consumer flexibility is shared. ⺠Consumer heterogeneity in flexibility is crucial for data sharing incentives. ⺠Data sharing is likely to harm consumers, but may improve social welfare.
