Abstract
⺠We use a gravity model to study financial transactions between APEC members. ⺠APEC members trade more with other members in financial assets. ⺠This finding is mainly due to the overshadowing role of East Asian countries. ⺠This finding is especially evident for equities, rather than for long-term bonds.
