Abstract
► We estimate the economic returns to China's Korean ethnic minority. ► We employ both ordinary least squares (OLS) and two-stage least squares (TSLS). ► We use parents' and spouse's education as conventional instruments. ► We also exploit heteroskedasticity to aid in identification. ► The TSLS estimates are considerably higher than the OLS estimates.
