Abstract
⺠Firms in the Indonesian food and beverages industry are highly inefficient. ⺠Industrial concentration in the industry in Indonesia is high. ⺠Firms in highly concentrated subsectors are less technically efficient. ⺠The quiet-life rather than the efficient structure hypothesis applies to the industry.
