Abstract
Although the books of John Kenneth Galbraith are widely known and read, the more than a hundred book reviews he wrote from 1933 to 1997 are the least known of his substantial published output, apart from the minority reprinted in his books. These reviews reveal Galbraith's strongly-held and incisive opinions on mainstream and heterodox economics, and on the governance of the public, corporate, and financial sectors.
