â¢Social support strategies play a role in online health communities.â¢Posts and replies from two OCD online health communities for two months were explored.â¢Data were categorized as action-facilitated or nurturant-support strategies.â¢Posters expressed empathy in their replies and sought experiential knowledge from other users.
