Synthesis, crystal structure and Hirshfeld surface analysis of 5-(3, 4-dimethoxyphenyl)-3-(thiophen-2-yl)-4, 5-dihydro-1H-pyrazole-1-carboxamide

The compound, 5-(3, 4-Dimethoxyphenyl)-3-(thiophen-2-yl)-4, 5-dihydro-1H-pyrazole-1-carboxamide was synthesized by the reaction of 3-(3, 4-dimethoxyphenyl)-1-(thiophen-2-yl)prop-2-en-1-one and semicarbazide. The crystal structure was determined by the single crystal X-ray diffraction studies. It crystallizes in the triclinic crystal system with the space group P −1 and unit cell parameters, a = 8.941 (4) Å, b = 9.838 (1) Å, c = 10.663 (4) Å; α = 72.2 (3)°, β = 84.9 (3)°, γ = 68.1 (2)° and Z = 2. The crystal and molecular structure of the title compound is stabilized by the NH⋯O and CH⋯O hydrogen bond interactions.
