Abstract

A series of 2-amino-3-cyano-4-aryl-4H-chromen-7-yl alkyl carbonates (4-13) was synthesised in just two steps via a one-pot multicomponent reaction and consequent nucleophilic substitution reaction. The structures of newly synthesized compounds were established on the basis of FT−IR, 1HNMR, 13CNMR, 1H13C COSY and HMBC spectral techniques. FT−IR, and NMR spectra of compound 11 has been investigated by computational method using DFTB3LYP with 6-311++G(d, p) basis set. The calculated vibrational frequencies of normal modes were matched well with the experimental values.
