Abstract
A series of 2-amino-3-cyano-4-aryl-4H-chromen-7-yl alkyl carbonates (4-13) was synthesised in just two steps via a one-pot multicomponent reaction and consequent nucleophilic substitution reaction. The structures of newly synthesized compounds were established on the basis of FTâIR, 1HNMR, 13CNMR, 1H13C COSY and HMBC spectral techniques. FTâIR, and NMR spectra of compound 11 has been investigated by computational method using DFTB3LYP with 6-311++G(d, p) basis set. The calculated vibrational frequencies of normal modes were matched well with the experimental values.
