Abstract
- 3-Step ferrate treatment was developed for remediation of contaminated groundwater.
- Degradation rates of 44 organic compounds were determined by HS/GC-MS method.
- The mean COD value of groundwater was reduced from 4050 to 1210Â mg O2/L.
- Degradation rates of aliphatic alcohols changed between 63 and 80%.
- More than 90% of dichloro- and trimethylbenzene compounds were degraded.
