Abstract
Raman spectroscopy along with Principal Component Analysis (PCA) is used for the characterization of pure essential oil (pure EO) isolated from the leaves of the Hemp (Cannabis sativa L.,) as well as its different fractions obtained by fractional distillation process. The Raman spectral features provide information for the qualitative monitoring of the pure EO and different fractions containing different active compounds.34
