Abstract
The incorporation of 1-vinlyimidazole with 1-ethyl-3-methylimidazolium hexafluorophosphate and sheet-like cobalt deposited onto the surface of C@TiC nanowires could provide a useful strategy for determination of oxygen. And the composite material firstly served as electrolyte for gas sensing. The figure shows cyclic voltammograms at different scan rates (left) and different concentrations of oxygen (right) in 38%EMIMPF6+57%VIM+5%Co/C. The calibration curves of peak current for oxygen reduction with the square root of scan rate (left inset) and oxygen concentration (right inset) were clear. The excellent linear relationship indicated that as-prepared sensor could be an excellent platform for the detection of oxygen.282
