Abstract
												One pot, three-component synthesis of 2,6-diaryl-4-piperidones and 2,4,6,8-tetraaryl-3,7-diazabicyclo[3.3.1]nonan-9-ones under microwave irradiation, was found to be efficient to afford good to excellent yields. This method has many advantages, which avoids the use of catalysts, accelerates the rate of reaction, high yields, methodological simplicity and eco-friendliness.
