Abstract
Three truxene-based star-shaped acceptors with an aim of extending dimensionality were synthesized for application in OSCs. When blended with PTB7-Th, Tr(Hex)6-3BR produced the highest power conversion efficiency of 2.1% with a high Voc of 1.02Â V. This work suggests that the star-shape truxene is a promising building block to construct high-performance non-fullerene acceptors for organic solar cells.450
