Abstract
The condensation of substituted salicylaldehyde with aniline or 2,4,5-trifluoroaniline, respectively, afforded five Schiff base ligands. Subsequently, their corresponding platinum(II) complexes were prepared through the metallation. Using these complexes as phosphorescent emitting materials, blue to orange light-emitting devices were fabricated with moderate efficiency.268
