Abstract
A new synthetic method for the oxidation of sulfides by ZnO/PANI composite in the presence of H2O2 under solvent-free conditions has been studied. The results reveal that PANI/ZnO composite has high activity and selectivity compared to the raw ZnO. The PANI/ZnO + H2O2 system may be envisaged as an efficient reagent in green sulphoxidation.
