Abstract
A hybrid PEO20-AlCl3-5% SiO2-70% Emim FSI is developed as solid electrolyte for aluminum-ion batteries. The electrical conductivity, variation of conductivity with time evolution and activation energy of the hybrid solid electrolyte is evaluated by AC impedance spectroscopy. The phase of the hybrid solid electrolyte is characterized by XRD. The electrochemical stability window of the hybrid solid electrolyte is determined by cyclic voltammetry. High ionic conductivity of 9.6 Ã 10â 4 S cmâ 1 at room temperature is achieved, moreover, the ionic conductivity is stabilized within 8 days at room temperature. An electrochemical stability window of 3 V is observed.
