Abstract
Defects with controlled concentrations in Mn-based MOFs with rod-shaped inorganic building units were systematically investigated by employing fragmented linkers with reduced coordination numbers. The chemical form and amount of coordinating groups (-OH and/or -COOH) in each linker impact on the defects density and porosity of the framework significantly.104
