Abstract
We present the synthesis and characterization of a novel series of bridging ligands and their RuII photosensitizer-catalyst dyads. We report studies on their photophysical properties and water oxidation activities of the dyads. Electrochemical studies suggest that these systems may be used as electrocatalysts for photoelectrochemical water oxidation.135
