Abstract
A new dirhodium(II,II) complex was synthesized with the capability to produce singlet oxygen and still undergo ligand exchange upon light activation. This compound was also shown to interact with DNA in a semi-intercalative fashion. The photophysical and photochemical properties of this compound were investigated.125
