Abstract
A [Ru(bpy)3]2+ center bearing a terpyridine chelating unit is used in association with Co(III) and Fe(II) to form trimetallic complexes in solution and dyads on a surface; the [Co(III)-Ru(II)] and [Fe(II)-Ru(II)] dyads on ITO behave as efficient photoanode and photocathode respectively.77
