Abstract
Four novel tricationic metalloporphyrin salicyloylhydrazone Cu(II)-complex have been reported (1-4). Multiple physicochemical methods reveal the complex 2 binding with calf thymus DNA more stronger than its analogues. MTT (3-(4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2,5-diphenyltetrazolium bromide) assay manifests complex 1 possess superior cytotoxicity towards HepG2 liver carcinogenic cells.241
