Abstract
The effect of actinyl on the enzymatic activity of the calmodulin-calcium activated phosphodiesterase was investigated. The isothermal titration calorimetry experiments revealed an inhibition of the enzymatic reaction. The complex formed between CaM and actinyl inhibits the enzyme instead of activating it, the dynamic light scattering results support this hypothesis.139
