Abstract
New copper(II) complexes with hydrazides and heterocyclic bases have been synthesized and characterized. Some complexes exhibited high cytotoxic activity and have been more active than carboplatin. Two selected compounds induce apoptotic cell death in MDA-MB-231 cell line and bind to DNA with K values of 4.38Â ÃÂ 104 and 2.62Â ÃÂ 104, respectively.74
