Abstract
Searching for drugs against Chagas disease and cancer, heteroleptic Schiff base vanadium complexes were prepared. In Trypanosoma cruzi compounds affect cell viability inducing changes of mitochondrial membrane potential and apoptosis. In metastatic PC3 cancer cells the compounds reduce the migratory ability, thus possibly have anti-metastatic ability.99
