Abstract
Three new ruthenium(II) complexes containing benzoic acid derivatives, with small structural modifications (R), showed relevant anti-Leishmania activity against the Leishmania (Leishmania) amazonensis, Leishmania (Viannia) braziliensis and Leishmania (Leishmania) infantum forms. Although the structural changes were subtle, they were determinant for the performance of the complexes.87
