Abstract
A series of dinuclear silver(I)-N-heterocyclic carbene complexes have been prepared and were tested for larvicidal studies against Aedes aegypti and Culex quinquefasciatus. The complexes were found to have higher larvicidal activity compared to their respective ligands, indicating the importance of the silver(I) ions towards larvicidal activity.88
