Abstract
Vanadium compounds show antitumor activity against melanoma cells, blocking cell cycle in different phases and inducing apoptosis. Oxidation state and chemical form play a fundamental role in the activation of different mechanisms regulating cell cycle progression and confirm vanadium potentiality for cancer therapy application.245
