Abstract
Tetrahedral tinidazole coordination compounds with CoII, CuII and ZnII, [M(tnz)2X2], were synthesized and fully characterized. An intramolecular lone pair SO â¯Â Ï interaction contributed to the stability of these complexes in solution. In vitro and in vivo evaluation of their antihelmintic activity gave very good results, being [Cu(tnz)Br2] the most effective.73
