Abstract
The research revealed that brazilin inhibits the Zn2 +-mediated aggregation of amyloid β-protein, leading to significant reduction in their cytotoxicity. Thus, brazilin is of great potential as a neuro-protective and therapeutic agent for Alzheimer's disease.137
