Abstract
Nitric oxide reductase (NOR) from a halophilic bacterium, Halomonas halodenitrificans was expressed in E. coli. By using plasmids harboring all genes in the nor operon and ccm the complex of NorC and NorB subunits could be obtained, while the membrane anchor helix was excised in the expression of NorC alone.257
