Abstract
With the aim to employ human serum albumin (HSA) as a delivery agent of an anticancer toxin to the tumor, N-phenyl-2-pyridinecarbothioamide (PCA) was substituted with a maleimide anchoring group. Ru and Os(η6-arene) complexes of this ligand were studied on their biological activity and reactivity to l-cysteine as a HSA model.
