Abstract
This work presents the synthesis and characterization of Ru(III) complexes with the aromatic carbazole-dithiocarbamato ligand, to compare their anti-proliferative properties with those of the aliphatic pyrrolidine-dithiocarbamato analogues (structure-activity relationships). The nonionic surfactant PF127 was used in in vitro cytotoxicity experiments, thus overcoming the poor water solubility of the compounds.
