Abstract
The synthesis of a new Bodipy (4,4-difluoro-4-bora-3a,4a-diaza-s-indacene)-based chemosensor was developed. The sensor shows selective sequestering properties towards Cu2Â + at micromolar concentrations. It crosses membrane of erythrocytes, colors them with a red fluorescence and is sensible to Cu2Â + variation in cells.179
