Abstract
A set of six chiral modular C2-symmetric bisphosphine ligands have been synthesized in a straightforward manner through a two-step reaction from the corresponding diols with moderate yields. The applicability of these chiral ligands was evaluated in Ru-catalyzed enantioselective transfer hydrogenation reactions and Pd-catalyzed enantioselective allylic substitution reactions.113
