Abstract
New triphenyltin(IV)chloride adducts of tripodal Schiff base ligands viz., H3saltren, H3hatren and H35-Cl-saltren have been synthesized and characterized. Distorted trigonal bipyramidal geometry around tin in Ph3SnCl.H3saltren has been ascertained using single crystal X-ray crystallographic studies. Thermal studies of triphenyltin(IV)chloride adducts have been carried out.162
