Abstract
A comprehensive evaluation of bonding of the highly electrophilic rhodium(II) centers with a diverse set of π-ligands based on modern computational methods reveals that important contributions come from a different interplay between the attractive (covalent and ionic) and repulsive (Pauli) components of bonding, as well as from variations in ligand topology and aromaticity.304
