Abstract
The complex Pt(IPr)(SnBut3)(H) is an active and selective hydrostannylation catalyst for the production of E-(SnBut3)(H)CC(SiMe3)(H). A unique intermediate complex Pt(IPr)[η2-E-(SnBut3)(H)CC(SiMe3)(H)], was isolated and characterized crystallographically.116
