Abstract
Four new iron carbonyl compounds bearing the rare ECl2 (E = P, As) moiety have been prepared and structurally characterized. These include [Cl2E{Fe(CO)4}2]-, [Fe(CO)4PCl2O]- and [Fe2(CO)6{(μ4-PFe(CO)4)2(μ-CO)}{μ-PCl2}]- isolated as either the Et4N or PPN+ salts.188
