Abstract
ArSb [Ar = 2,6-(HC=N-t-Bu)2C6H3] reacts with chalcogenes E and diphenylchalcogenanes E2Ph2 (ES, Se, Te) with formation of ArSbE (ES, 1; Se 2) containing terminal SbE bonds and ArSb(EPh2)2 (ES 3; Se 4). ArSb(TePh)2 (5) shows a temperature-dependent reversible equilibrium with ArSb and Te2Ph2 between - 80 °C and 20 °C. 1-4 are characterized by multinuclear NMR (1H, 13C, 77Se), IR spectroscopy and microanalyses data and by single crystal X-ray diffraction (2-4).138
