Abstract
Adamantane-type [(NC(CH2)2Ge)4Ch6] (Ch = S, Se) and noradamantane-type [(NC(CH2)2Ge)4Te5] (see Figure) were obtained as first nitrile-functionalized tetrel chalcogenide clusters upon synthesis of Cl3Ge(CH2)2CN and its and reaction with sodium monochalcogenides.165
