Abstract
We studied the magnetic properties of solid solution Dy3−xYxTaO7 and we found that the system behaves as spin glass at low temperature and high Dy3+ content. We calculate the relaxation time by Cole-Cole and Casimir-du Pre equations. Also, we found the Y3+ substitution leads disorder in the relaxation time distribution but this disorder does not promote the spin glass behaviour. A magnetic phase diagram for the solid solution is proposed.126
