A series of porous metal-organic frameworks with hendecahedron cage: Structural variation and drug slow release properties

A series of porous MOFs with hendecahedron cage-liked cavity has been constructed from the [Cu2(COO)4] secondary building unit, triangle aromatic acid ligand and pyrazine derivatives varied with different sizes; the amino-tagged hendecahedron cage shows good drug controlled release ability toward ibuprofen and guaiacol.183
