Abstract
The Tb3+/Yb3+ co-doped lithium borate (LB) glass prepared by melt quench method emits upconverted visible emissions through upconversion CET from Yb3+ to Tb3+ ions and quantum cutting emissions through downconversion CET from Tb3+ to Yb3+ ions. Therefore, the Tb3+/Yb3+ co-doped LB glass may find applications in optical devices and solar cell and behaves as a multi-modal photo-luminescent material.242
