Abstract
Two new triterpenes (1-2) and seven steroids (3-9) were isolated from the fruiting bodies of Ganoderma duripora. Structure elucidation of these compounds was generated by a combination of spectroscopic means (HRTOFMS, 1H and 13C NMR). There are significant differences between the compounds isolated from Ganoderma duripora and from the other Ganoderma species, suggesting that we need to reconsider the classification of G. duripora according to the taxonomy of chemistry.
