Abstract
												Replacing the enone bridge (Type 1) or the ethylenic bridge (Type 2&3) with either 3,4-dihydropyrimidine-2-thione, oxirane, pyrazoles, thiirane or diphenyl ethanolamine afforded compounds with excellent antitumor activity and showed remarkable inhibition of TUBb polymerization.173
