Abstract
⺠Hierarchical levels are found in both humic acid and humin of two different geomaterials. ⺠Hierarchical levels are present regardless of extractant used to separate NOM fractions. ⺠Similarities in the whole humic/humin level mirror the ones in the composition of their HA1 and L0 components. ⺠Differences at the L0 level mirror the differences in the distribution and nature of HA2 and L1.
