Abstract
⺠Variation in n-alkane content allowed reconstruction of the palaeoenvironment. ⺠Seven alternating dry-humid episodes were assigned. ⺠Palaeoenvironmental changes correlate with global climatic cycles. ⺠Spectral analysis revealed orbital influence.
